Vectrex controller Overlay: Who sells them????

Decided to fix the joystick centering problem on the vectrex controller. I want to replace the controller overlay and I remember someone on here did a really nice job on them. Step on up!!!

I don't think the Vectrex has controller overlays, only screen overlays.

He means the sticker that covers the screws on the front of the controller. I haven't seen anyone selling the repros in a while. You can usually heat the original carefully and remove it without causing any damage. You can reapply it by heating it again.

Yeah, I was in a hurry to fix it and figured the replacement sticker is still available on here.....someone must remember who made these? The guy made a huge amount of game stuff.....

Well there are several Vectrex repro folks, but often they are "retired" because almost anything that's created is a lot of work. There was a guy doing the screen overlays, but sadly he stopped doing them.

No one does them anymore and I don't think anyone is going to do them for a while.

Alternatively, you could use that GIF and get someone to print a label and laminate it. I know of several people on various game forums who could.

Maybe you can just get one printed, since no one sells them and its unlikely someone has one just lying around.

Saw a craigslist ad with someone selling 6 cib near mint games... with a boxed vectrex and two controllers.

I'm tempted to just buy that lot... and sell my old one with the second controller and keep the new one with the games.

I contacted a guy who prints controller overlays. He has decided to make some vectrex overlays. He has some neat designs along with the original.
