    Default How bad of an issue is this? Vectrex Controller question.

    My Vectrex Controller's joystick still self-centers but it feels much easier to push it downward than it is to push it upward. I assume this is the springs weakening but I don't know.
    What's up with islands? Get more land.
    What's up with deserts? Get less sand.

    Yeah most likely it's the tension. Doesn't use springs, I think it's a clip in there that does it.

    Yeah, the Vec controller uses springs for its auto-centering. The typical fix for this is replacing the spring with one from a 2600 cart. Only issue is you have to peel up the Vectrex decal. If done carefully, it can be barely noticeable, but it isn't easy and will never be perfect.
