Ah the so called "Video Game Authority". The name itself includes "authority" so you know they're actually authorities on Video games. Right?

I'm curious if you've had it x-rayed. Batteries get old, go bad, and leak which will damage the PCB rendering the game inoperable. Part of the value is that you have a brand new, in amazing shape cartridge inside that box but if that cannot be verified with a x-ray to check for battery leakage the value could be less.
