Default What would be a center piece game room find...

.... that you would love to come across? What kinds of finds that youve found you see as a center piece or one of the biggest talking points in your game room or collection? What kinds of things do you look for to make your room stand out? Examples pics and discussion are always welcomed.

For me would be those M82 units from Nintendo. You can't anymore classic than that Nintendo wise. I would also love to have those World of Nintendo signs that light up.

Well it all depends on the individual. For me, I've got a pair that stand out, yet in my big room they stand alone in a nice corner together to catch ones eye when you enter the room in the corner diagonally way from my main TV and the big shelf with my games on it. There's the sharp nes tv on top of a nice little nightstand/table and above it hanging is the classic SNES advertising piece of Mario riding Yoshi with super nintendo in black/red below them.

I'd love to have one of those Nintendo Super System arcade machines with Super Mario World. Someday when I can save up some money and get a large storage unit for current furniture...

I'm a collector, but only to a certain extent.
Not as extreme as Rickstilwell though.[/quote]

The centerpiece in my gameroom is my Tournament Arkanoid tabletop arcade cab:

Ive had it for about 5 years now, I got it off craigslist for 50$. Before I bought it, the guy told me it worked perfectly. When I showed up it mysteriously would not turn on, and the guy put on a show, acting like he diddnt know that it diddnt work. I bought it, took it home and had it working in 5 minutes. The pcb board had slid out of the harness, I just put it back in and it worked perfectly.

As for something Id love to find, I would really like to own one of those Super Mario World pinball machines.

Definitely an old arcade cab and to be specific, an original Donkey Kong. Probably my favorite arcade game. That would be fantastic to own and have in the collection.
