I was looking around for a good Saturn emulator, and I got a bit stuck with all the bios loading and burning discs.
Not to mention my anti virus program didn't want any part of it.
How exactly do you get this off the ground?

You also have to make sure your computer's CPU is fast enough. I believe it was 2.3Ghz or better. I come a little short at 2.13 GHz but can still run a couple things somewhat ok. I think the emulator I used was SSF, which required the games be played from CD drive or a virtual CD Drive loader like Daemon Tools.
UltraISO is the best disc backup program. For Saturn games you want to back them up in the bin/cue format so all the music track data get's stored in the file instead of separate tracks. The cue file will sort out the distribution of the music tracks when you burn the disc.
IMGBurn is the best program to burn the backups to disc. Always select the cue file when choosing the disc image.
I just skipped emulation and went with a modded Saturn because it's still not perfect emulation yet.
Cool. thanks for the info.
I think buying an actual Saturn may be my best bet.
Well, the process is the same for emulating any other CD-ROM system, whether it be Dreamcast, Turbo-CD, Sega CD, etc. The only difference is that some of them will load disc images directly instead of requiring you to mount them virtually.
