    Default Atari 2600 Jr Problems

So, my little Atari isn't working quite so well, the light comes on when u put the power switch on, then it dims out and turns off. Any suggestions?

The same thing happened to a woodgrain Atari I found at Salvation Army once. I think it's a bad capacitor or something.

I'm a collector, but only to a certain extent.

Yea I wound up picking up a Vader system. The thing works great and looks real badass. Sparking some more focus on collecting Atari games now also, I love getting new systems, and it doesn't happen often cuz I have most of the ones I want.

Yea it sounds like the main power cap. It'll charge up buy can't keep up with demand after that initial start up
