It has been a long time since I have got a good deal on Ebay. The seller listed it as broken not working but I only wanted one thing from the auction...that broadband adapter. Well I got all of it in today and this is everything else the seller had. The discs are in good shape with light scratches and it turns out that everything works. The system is a little loud but what DC isn't? It is a VA0 as well so I have the metal heatsink. This is a nice addtion to my aleady decent DC collection. The price? $81. So happy with this.

I just put in a random IP to see if it would kick the light on my router and seems to work fine. Now to find some servers that are still active. I know PSO has some still going....or used to.

From above posts it sounds like the poster already sold off a lot of them to make his funds back.

That is still sold or not an impressive goodwill of all places pick up. Genesis stuff in that shape I rarely see and that was here or in CA where I found so much stuff a few years back. Sega stuff just doesn't seem to turn up in quantity or quality complete.

I had a small find of a few games this weekend I'm pleased with. $9 got me Classic NES Donkey Kong and Dr Mario/Puzzle League GBA yesterday, and this afternoon $5(plus a little credit) got me a CIB Metroid Fusion too.

I don't find much anymore, and definitely not during the cold parts of the year so it was nice to see. I was more surprised by the cheap duo of games because usually Half Price Books likes to highest price ebay BIN the damn games so I rarely go there anymore (used to go a few times a week, same with another place too in town.)

I actually only sold 6 of the games shown in the photo and three loose games that I upgraded to CIB thanks to this find. Everything else went towards my personal collection.

Hoo boy, been a while since I posted finds. I suppose I'll just limit 'em to this month, then.

Broken SEGA CD2+OK Genesis 2 - Free? - Technically paid $60 for this - it was described as working perfectly, but when I got it, no games or CDs would read in it. Got a full refund and seller insisted I keep it for all the trouble I'd gone through to get it, so *technically* free?

Flintstones (Genesis) - $15 - Cart only in good condition, this one was a bitch to find but I'm glad I finally got it.
Outrunners (Genesis) - $6 - Cart only, practically new. I've gotten more into the Outrun series recently and this one was a decent price.
Caliber 50 (Genesis) - $7 - Cart only, perfect condition after a little cleaning. I already had a CiB wardner and figured I'd try to get the other Mentrix games too - Championship Bowling is the only one left to get, now.
Junction (Genesis) - $3 - Cart only, yet to receive. Always had a little interest in perhaps Konami's strangest licensing choice, and $3 sounded about right for it. The music is pretty.
Desert Demolition (Genesis) - CiB - $5 - Absolutely love this game, but it's so damn common I decided a while back I'd only get if if I found it CiB. I did, and essentially paid the loose price for it.

Gamegear weird variety lot - $27
Quite possibly the strangest combination lot I've acquired.
GG (Broken, like 99% of GGs)
    GG Case
2 AC Adapters with 3 power tips for GG, GB, or GBP/GBC
    11 GG Games -
    Mappy (Import)
    Tails Adventure (Import)
    Lemmings
    Ms Pac Man
    Sonic 1
    Sonic 2
    Streets of Rage 2
    5 in 1 Fun Pak
    World Series Baseball
    Columns
    US Olympic Winter Games
    A Clear GBC (Works perfectly!)
    Gameboy Camera
    Gameboy Printer
Legend of River King (Black Cart, not listed but was in the GBC when I got it)
SEGA Nomad Powerback (Broken, will probably resell it to someone who wants to make a functional pack out of it with new batteries and use the cash to get one that takes AAs)

Gamegear Import Lot - $27 - Lots of surprisingly good JP-exclusive but English-Speaker friendly licensed GG games in it, most of which are a bitch to find cheap.

    Doraemon (platformer)
    Yaiba (variety/platformer)
Magical Taruruto Kun (cute em up)
Ninku Gaiden (From what I've seen, essentially Pengo)
Yu Yu Hakusho (Streets of Rage style beatemup/Punchout-y fighter)
    Yu Yu Hakusho 2 (Charge-Power fighter-y game?)
From TV Animation Slam Dunk (Basketball, probably won't play)
    Dodge Danpei (Soccer, Meh)
Magic Knight Rayearth (RPG, no way I can understand it)
    Gambler something (Gambling game, meh)

I also got some SEGA CD games when I'd assumed my SCD was going to work, but I sill intend to play them after I get it working.

SEGA CD Game lot (just discs) - $9
    Sewer Shark
    Lethal Enforcers
    Stellar-Fire
    WWF Rage in the Cage
    Ground Zero Texas Both Discs
Sherlock Holmes Vol II Both Discs
    Fifa Soccer
    NHL 94

SEGA CD Game lot 2 (just discs)- $5
    Batman Returns
    Chuck Rock
    AH-3 Thunder Strike
    SEGA Classics Yellow
    SEGA Classics Blue
    Sewer Shark
Sherlock Holmes Vol II disc 1

Well, that's enough catching up and cataloguing for now. I've got games to play!

    - Controller - works but very worn/yellowed as well
    - 3 games - Porky Pig, Lion King, Super Mario World

Transformers Beast Wars Transmetals for N64 - loose $25
Freedom Wars (Vita) - free (with credit from Best Buy for them missing a delivery before Xmas)

Unfortunately for me, I was laid off from my job on Friday. So the following purchases are probably going to be my last for a while:

Alcatel Pop Icon Smart Phone (New) - $79.99

I picked this up during Future Shop's Black Friday sale and got it unlocked. It doesn't have the same specs as a higher end phone. But I only really use it for texting, calls, and a handful of apps, so it works great for my needs.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation (Used, Complete) - $9.99

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (Used, Complete) - $14.99

Infinite Space (Used, Complete) - $14.99

    Rayman 3D (Used, Complete) - $8.99

The first three games I bought at my local EB Games, and Rayman 3D was found at Value Village. However, after playing Infinite Space for bit, I realized it wasn't my type of game. So I resold it on Craigslist.

Eden of the East Complete Series BR/DVD Set (Used, Complete) - $19.99

I almost bought the EotE set directly from Funimation during their Black Friday sale. But the shipping costs were too high. Luckily, I later found the same set at game/dvd store while I was visiting friends over the holidays. Now I just need to find a good deal on the two sequel films.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Extended Cut DVD Set (New) - $24.99

Sonic Boom Sticks Figure (New) - $7.99

Wow, I would love to get a lot at that price. Anyways, I got a few Wii games on clearance for $5 new each.

    Donkey Kong Country Returns
    Super Mario Galaxy
    Kirby's Epic Yarn

    Pretty sweet deal.

I've only come across a TurboExpress twice in the wild, back in the '90s, and I didn't have the $45 to $50 each time to buy it. I've kept up hope I'd find another one, but I haven't. Your find makes me feel a bit hopeful again.

FINALLY found the console I've been searching for, for quite some time.

An NTSC Commadore Amiga CD32, actually found it complete in the box with the rare modem attachment, extra controller, and games.

    YEAH!!
