Default Subor sb-2000 famiclone replacement power supply needed

I have a Subor sb-2000 famiclone here. It has the original 220 9v psu here included with it, but I need a suitable North American replacement. The polarity is not listed on the system or the psu, so figured I would post and see if anyone here has had one prior and knew what it was.

A Sega Genesis model 1 or Sega Master System 1 Ac adapter will do the job perfectly.

May I ask where did you get it?.

any 9v DC power supply with a negative center pin polarity will work. Unfortunately this is an uncommon type in North America. Most of the ones you'll find are 9v DC with a positive center pin polarity. Less likely to spark if there's a malfunction.

Uncommon? Does RadioShack still have adapt-a-pin power supplies?
You just buy that and a tip, and it can change between positive/negative by how the tip is inserted?

You just don't want to use one of those cheap universal ac adapters usually rate at 300mA, they don't have a lot of juice and they will introduce noise in their output.
For a Famiclone I'd say 9V with at least 850mA.

Been using two such adapters, for my official AV Famicom (a 1200mA-rated one, I think it is, because the system is rated 850) and a 800mA I think for my FDS (which needs 400, I recall).
