Default 1989 Zelda Watch Wall Clock

Some of the long-time members here may remember this which I picked up in early 2004:

Yes, It's that big of a clock. I know that InsaneDavid on here has one and he said he saw one other, last time I checked (maybe he's seen more by now?) and I saw one other clock similar to this,̶ s̶a̶n̶s̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶w̶a̶t̶c̶h̶ ̶p̶a̶r̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶i̶t̶ it was only the centerpiece however and it was the only one I ever saw on eBay. Someone here made a thread about it and had it for sale then, though by now it may have been a year or two ago when I saw it.

I tested the clock just before posting and it did not work. I was using it for years but eventually I put it away without a battery in it for storage. It uses one AA battery. I don't imagine it would be costly to get it working again.

Have you ever seen any of these for sale other than the one I mentioned? I'm willing to sell it once I get more of idea about it. Maybe I could get it working before sale.

EDIT: See the strikethrough part and the "only the centerpiece however" part.

I can't speak for value, never seen one. Dear lord that thing looks like it should be the WWE title belt for Zelda or something, it's gigantic.

As for getting it running, that could be tricky. They didn't build things like that to a high quality standard, best bet take it to a watch repair store and hope for the best. Problem is the bill to repair it might exceed the value of the item depending on it's cost. So, yep first things first find the value of it.

Wow, very cool item. My sister had a similarly styled Smurfs watchband clock, which I saw recently as a prop in Adam's room on The Goldbergs!

Couldn't you just buy a clock mechanism? They're usually only a few bucks at your local hardware store.

I didn't see this when I posted my first reply. Maybe I could. I haven't looked at the clock much yet.

Also, per the text at the bottom of the later image I posted: I didn't catch that until after it was pointed out.

yea, you can usually pick one up at a hardware store or craft store for $5 or less.

This looks like it's probably the original text, if you want to compare:

Thanks. I admit a few people have asked about buying it, though I find it a bit silly to say what they offered as it depends on the person asking.

I've seen one in a photo here, I imagine it's from a catalog:

I did put a brand new battery in it to test it, but I didn't try the battery anywhere else. Maybe it's just not getting power.

I love that catalog. Read the small text on the bottom.

That's a really cool clock, I don't know anything about the value though.

Whoa whoa whoa, where is this catalog from? I'm assuming it is a modern spoof?
