Cant find any info on this, any advice on the rarity/value would be appreciated.

They also made one for the Game Gear - I worked for GameShark when they were owned by Recoton and I don't ever remember seeing this in the warehouse. I can't imagine it being worth anything, but it's fairly obscure. And yes, it's for the original GameBoy.

Beeshu and Intec also made their own versions.
