What a debacle. I met Socal Mike at CAX 2009 and he seemed OK to me. That was back when gamegavel was just chase the chuck wagon IIRC. I wouldn't have expected a circus like this at the time, but one can never tell I guess.

I don't really get why half of the topics that people ask to be locked are, honestly. Why not just not participate if things have gotten stale?
