Default Genesis on a sony PVM not displaying blue

I recently bought a Sony PVM-14N6U monitor for use with my older consoles. It has BNC connectors on the back for RGB input, which I read was far superior to standard composite video, so I went ahead and got cables to connect my sega genesis model 1 to it. I got a Genesis to scart cable, then a scart to BNC cable, and plugged it into the monitor. When I turned everything on, the picture looked incredible, aside from one glaring problem: NO BLUE! I disconnected the red, the green, and the blue cables one by one from the monitor and discovered that the red and green work flawlessly, yet when only the blue cable was plugged in, a VERY faint picture showed up (the screen almost displayed nothing) which led me to conclude that there is either a problem with the cable or a problem with the rgb input on the monitor itself. Have any of you had experience with PVMs? Is this a common issue? How should I go about troubleshooting and trying to fix this? I can upload pictures later if that would help. Thank you!

It actually sounds like you got sent the wrong cable. Sounds like jp21 and not scart.

It could also be a problem with your scart to bnc adapter being faulty too.

I imagine you get a full color picture over other video outputs. If blue had died in the system I'm pretty sure that you'd notice it over all outputs

Here are some pictures that will hopefully clear up the problem that I am describing.
Here is the Sony PVM-14N6U that is giving me this headache:

Here is the back of the monitor with the Genesis connected through RGB using the BNC connectors

you'll notice that no blue colors are being displayed! Sonic is showing up as black rather than blue and everything has a weird tint to it that led me to believe that something is screwy with the color blue specifically (most likely a problem with the Sony PVM monitor itself).

To do further testing I tested the monitor with only the Red wire connected through the BNC connector in the back:

    Red worked perfectly

Next, I tested the monitor with only the Green wire connected through the BNC connector in the back:

    Green worked perfectly

Finally, I tested the monitor with only the Blue wire connected through the BNC connector in the back:

The picture barely showed up instead of showing up as all blue as it was supposed to! I took another picture with the lights off to show how faint the picture is showing up when only the blue cable is connected:

So I definitely know that the problem is that the color blue is not being displayed, however I have no other cables to test on the monitor so I am unsure if the problem is with the monitor itself or the cables.

Move the red or green BNC to the blue BNC on the monitor.

If blue appears - monitor good, cable/console bad
    If not - monitor problem

Blue didn't appear when I moved red and green to the bnc connector also the on screen menu text is displaying as yellow instead of white.
