Easily one of my all time favorites. I don't have much to add that hasn't been said, but it's just awesome.

As an aside, if you feel like playing along at all this year in the challenge thread, Super Metroid would qualify for a point for week 1.

Only took me, like, half a year (and it's not even a particularly long game), but I finally beat Corpse Party, haha. I'm not done with it, though, as there're plenty of wrong ends and name tags that I missed.

I never played it before but it became a favorite now of mine. It's the best 16 bit platformer I've ever played, that's for sure. My SNES had jail bar problems too but I couldn't stop playing it. So awesome.
