This website is the result of 15 years [!] of research and collecting, and today (Oct. 4th, 2018) is its world debut.

I've had a fascination with the Supervision for a long time after seeing it briefly in catalogs in the early '90s. I think I might have seen one in actual, genuine, not-at-all-a-fever-dream life back in said '90s. I have since bought three "games" for it, but haven't found a console to use them on. I also have an emulator for the Mac called OpenEmu, and they've been promising a Supervision emulation core for a couple years now, with no results. I just can't bear to pay a ridiculous amount online for the thing knowing I won't get any real use out of it, so I've been hoping emulation would show me what I'm missing. Not much, according to reviewers on YouTube.

It looks like the same people cranked out most of the games for the system. I know Chimera was programmed in England, though. There was a bit about it in Retro Gamer Magazine. The game started out life on an 8-bit home computer, and many years later the programmer was contacted and asked to port it to the Supervision. I don't remember which magazine issue that was in, although it was probably about a year ago I read that. Maybe you can track down the article, get his info, and contact him for an interview about the game. Maybe get some 'behind the scenes' info about Supervision in the process.

I remember seeing an article or two about the Supervision in "Boy's Life" magazine back in my Cub Scout days. They touted its larger screen and other 'advantages' over the Game Boy. I was mildly intrigued, but never actually saw it for sale at any of the local stores. I wonder why..........

Premium: Game Gear, Atari Lynx
Mainstream: Game Boy
Budget: Supervision, Mega Duck/Cougar Boy
Cheap AF: Tiger handhelds / wrist games

Quality game library: Game Boy, Game Gear, Turbo Express
Okay game library: Atari Lynx
Crappy game library: Supervision, Mega Duck/Cougar Boy
So bad that AVGN calls them among the worst he's ever seen: Tiger handhelds
Literal dog shit would be better: Tiger wrist games

Today I've added blister pack insert scans for 2-in-1 Hash Block / Eagle Plan, Alien, and Dream World. The game instructions archive has also been added to: Especially take note of the Italian version of the Honey Bee instructions, which feature hand-written corrections that were simply xeroxed into the finished product! Amazing!! Finally, the ridiculous �Supervision ninja� makes his second appearance, courtesy Watary Italia's fabulous stickers.

There really wasnt a good handheld option until March 2003 when the GBA SP came out. It was about ten years too late. I remember using my light boy to play Super Mario Land on my DMG on the school bus. Its amazing how quickly the technology progressed

Today's tantalizing website update...

I finally picked up a sort-of-like-new, boxed Magnum Supervision. I've been wanting one of those for a while, don'cha know. I've added scans of the box and instructions now, just for you. I also managed to get the kinda elusive Sonny X'Press complete in blister pack. So in case any of you were �going ape� over the insert & instructions not being available on the website, they're here now.

What else, what else... OH! There's a scan of a Sonny sticker! Yep. It was adhered to the Sonny X'Press blister package, but I carefully removed it. No more monkey business with this last update: a rather uninteresting Hartung Supervision sticker. That's it for today.
