SEGA Saturn prototype sample console
This is the prototype sample during the development of Saturn console prior its launching. This particular unit is fully working unit with the last (or could be second last) revision of development motherboard and final release candidate BIOS. From the look of it this one's appeared to be the console housing sample as there are several places it's quite different from the launching model.
The most striking difference would be it's finished in high gloss unlike the matt finish on the console launched. And there are other differences as well.
