Bingo. The quote could've just been started at "I find it boring and aimless" if one doesn't want to include the part about motion sickness. Combining two sentences in such a way changes the meaning. This is a relatively harmless example, but this kind of editing could be used in more problematic ways, so that's why I ask users to refrain from such habits.
