only 13x the cost of the most recent sealed Shemue sold on eBay. get it before its over 20x that amount
Your sentence fits on nearly every VGA game....absolutely right.
Shenmue is gaming history and this grade for a nearly 20 year old game is „quite good“....better than an uncirculated VGA 100 Pokemon xyz which is 5 years old.

1,500 Euro ($1,661.40 USD)? No one is going to buy that. At least, I certainly HOPE no one buys it. No one should be paying over $1,000 for Shenmue.
A mint condition Shenmue is worth, at most, 100 Euro ($110.22 USD). Usually, it's worth about 50 Euro ($60.11 USD).
And God of War. Someone actually paid 253 Euro ($278.84 USD) for God of War on PS2 and God of War III on PS3. Ridiculous. God of War on PS2 is a common game that goes for 10 Euro ($11.02 USD) or so in mint condition complete. God of War III goes for about the same price. So that's about 20 Euro ($22.04 USD) worth of games that someone overpaid by 13 times.

Real collectors drive Hondas, Toyotas, Chevys, Fords, etc... not Rolls Royces.
Thanks for your comment.
Concerning GoW....only the first part was sold for 253 Euro (279 Dollar). I still have the third part. The buyer is going to take this one too for 100 Euro in the next week. So my price was fine and hits the demand. If you check ebay.com you will see there was a VGA90 GoW went for over 700 Dollar.
So your comment shows YOUR opinion. It is ok, but you are talking about mint and complete games.
That is the same if we talk about VW Golf and Mercedes S class. Both take you from A to B...both have climate control and both cars can pic up 4 people. So why is the Mercedes so expensive?
Same with Shenmue...sure, 1,5k is high. Would surely let this go for less. But please find me this game in THIS condition. The buyer has probably THE BEST (in view of the condition) Shenmue in the world. Not a game which you can buy on every flea market.
Maybe before you are posting something, you better check ebay and prices of graded sealed games. Sealed or graded collecting has nothing to do with collecting used and played games...

I don't think you're going to find much interest here, unfortunately. In general, this is a community that doesn't look too favorably toward VGA.

My post was a suggestion to the seller that he'd probably have better luck advertising on other forums, not an invitation for people to talk about why they don't like VGA in this thread. Keep it on-topic in the Buying & Selling forum, guys. If you aren't interested in buying, move along. To reiterate one of this sub-forum's rules:
Sale spoiling
Please do not march into a thread and state that you can get an item for $X on eBay or some other online store. If you think their price may be too high, don't be rude about it. If others feel the same way, then it won't sell. This is a hobby where each person gives an item a different monetary worth. While it's fine to look out for others, people should also do research into the item they are buying.
In fact, I'm going to see about moving the last couple posts to a more appropriate thread.
