Imo, the biggest headache of owning a PS3 is that so many games are ported over to the PS4. I exaggerate, but there really are a lot. If at all possible, I'd recommend to see if the games are later released on the PS4 or XBO so you don't later purchase the game yet again on a more powerful system.

Tho in this case, I would need to purchase a PS4 or XBO as well...

Sadly, it seems like Demon's Souls is the one game in the Soulsborne series to remain locked behind previous gen. Metal Gear Solid 4 I could see potentially getting re-released, but probably not anytime soon since Konami and Hideo Kojima had that big falling out.
