Wait what? They made a toy literally bigger than Planet Earth?

As for topic: When I saw topic title I thought this was gonna be an emulation box or something, not the actual LCD games re-released, and then I thought it was gonna contain like Baseball or something, not their licensed stuff. Gonna say this might actually be interesting now. Back in the day I bought some of these even tho I had a Gameboy. That said I feel like these days they might be like the Atari 2600 for me--fun for nostalgic or kitsch value but not something I'm seriously invested in (then again that's how they were back then, something I played to kill a few minutes)

Well not exactly but it's really huge for this toy of unicron.Hasbro had crowd funding just to able to sell it.

It really put any of the masterpiece combiners to shame far as size goes beside it's price.

Since it seems GameStop will pretty much die due to the coronavirus outbreak, what will happen to the exlcusivity of these handhelds?

They all belong to me, I will keep them in my doom fortress for those that survive the Corny Virus.

GameStop dying is inevitable, covid is just accelerating it. when people can buy video games directly from the manufacturer without getting off their ass, theres no incentive to go to a GameStop unless you care about physical media, you deal exclusively in cash, wanna be able to re-sell the game, or socialize with other humans. most of those things dont matter to most of the people playing the newest games. same people that killed the video game magazine

and speaking of which, once GameStop goes, Game Informer will go down with them (the mag at least)

Not so fast, doomsayers. Since the self-sequestering caused by the new coronavirus began, GameStop's stock's price has increased 21%. Additionally, day-to-day sales increased to about 180% of normal.

Wouldn't the stock increase just be mirroring the overall partial rebound of the market within the last few days?

Coronavirus or not, I don't think GameStop has much of a future.

That will just extend the inevitable. Like Sears, GameStop is a sinking ship. It's eventual demise is sooner than later.

So as long as every other retail store remains closed indefinitely and GameStop is literally the only retail store open, they'll make enough sales to stay in business? Sounds like they're going to be just fine then.
