Default A question about autographed video game memorabilia

    its actually 2 questions

I have an autographed 2600 signed by Joe Decuir... this guy:
    http://www.digitpress.com/library/in...oe_decuir.html

supposedly, now from what i hear this wasnt an uncommon thing so i am curious if any one out there has another signed by him, if you do do you have any pics?
The one in the picture in the article is not the one i have, my signature is in a different spot and its been hastily written out.

also the 2nd part of this
more a personal choice question, if it is legit, would you leave the system as it sits or try and have more early atari staff sign it along side it?

just something i am thinking about, i might have an opportunity to add to it but at the same time i could also take a 2600Jr i have complete in box and do the same

I'm more of a get the paper packaging signed versus directly on the cart/disc/system/whatever person, but I have done the latter on occasion. I do think it's nice getting multiple signatures on one item when all the people are relevant. I got the whole Inti Creates sound team on my DS Mega Man Zero Collection, all of the Earthbound Papas on my copy of Octave Theory, and both Yuzo Koshiro and Kinuyo Yamashita on my Castlevania OST boxset. For the last one, I would add Michiru Yamane's autograph and any other Castlevania composer to the box in a heartbeat if I had the opportunity.

I don't have a Decuir signed console, but I've seen many, as well as Atari computers autographed by him. I'm not sure how many of the old braintrust you'd even run into at this point, but yeah why not, add more signatures.

Tod Frye, Garry Kitchen, and Howard Scott Warshaw should be at PRGE this weekend, i might be able to get signatures from them but would they fall into the same category as Joe?

Was busy all weekend to respond, but I would have said YES. They all wrote "iconic" games for the VCS.
