I own zero.
We only have a dozen or so Amiibo, but we have a LOT of Skylanders. The kids were really into them a few years ago...well after their popularity so we were able to buy lots for cheap.
The same goes for Disney Infinity. We ended up with a complete collection of them(excluding variants)
"Game programmers are generally lazy individuals. That's right. It's true. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Since the dawn of computer games, game programmers have looked for shortcuts to coolness." Kurt Arnlund - Game programmer for Activision, Accolade...
I want it, but then when I see news like how "A rare Amiibo is out of print and gets a re-print" It is the same problem when "Rez" for the PS2 was becoming collectable. There is no point. Only if there was Censorship.

I had a dream onetime of a PC-Engine cartridge that was a giant statue you plugged into the console.
It was going be a storage unit and possible upgrade. Amiibo is half that dream.
What about E-reader-cards? What happen to those
I want the Metroid Dread one that comes with an E.M.I.
Or those Megaman Battle Network chip thingys. Maybe they did not come stateside.
