I would be interested. How much and do you have any references?
Thanks,
Sean
Sean, we'll have them at the OKGE (hopefully) if your going(it looks like you might be in the area), the price is going to be around $300. If you need a reference try www.toytokyo.com, or www.brianstoys.com, we're also on ebay as wyatt88. We've been in the business for a few years now, and we pride ourselves on being reliable. Thanks for the interest and let me know if you need anything else man...

Damn! For $300 you don't even get the carrying case?
We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.
yeah, you get the case to (its just not in the pic). you get everything that comes with it when you buy one in HK.
Your eBay add says that the case is not included. It also says that you only include 1 controller, but I thought 2 were included in the package. eBay more likely than not will shut down your auction. If you want to try to sell this before it is shut down, I would add a Buy It Now and hope that someone uses it.
Edit: Nevermind! Damn lack of a delete button.
Yeah, sorry about the description, the wrong one was posted. Here is what it definately includes:
- Treamcast Console
- 2 Controllers
- A/C Adapter
- Car Cigarette Lighter Adapter
- Remote Control
- Carrying Case
Sorry about the confusion, the ebay description will be changed shortly. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.!
How much do these retail for in Hong Kong?
looks nice but i really dont think there will be many biters for $300. you could build your own for that. not that it would look that nice but you sure could do it.
Yep. There's no telling how poor the quality of these things are either since Sega had nothing to do with them. And once you buy it, you're on your own if it screws up.Originally Posted by nesuser2
No offense to 8bit4life, but I'd hardly pay $100 for one.

No offense taken on the price, but trust me, I'm not making to much on these things (considering the shipping costs from HK). I realize the price seems a little steep (especially when you look at what you can get an authorized version of the dreamcast for). They're coming from a reputible supplier, a friend I've delt with on many occasions, and even overseas, you have to pay quite a high price for these.
Well I just checked on Lik-sang and it appears these go from $150 to $200 in Hong Kong. Here is the link with more info about this machine.

I think this guy is providing a reasonable service, and most people won't be making one of these on their own. Since when is making $50 notable? I'd pay $300 for one of those if I had some cash and space to burn. I think it's a great item. Of course, lack of any support on these kinds of HK items makes it more of a museumable than a playable piece.
What kind of support could you need? It's an lcd connected to the ouputs of a dc clone.
Seeking display quality copy of I Want My Mommy for the 2600... if you have one, PM me, I will pay/trade well.
I am not trying to insult anyone. I just wanted more information on these and I thought I would share what I found.
For anyone interested, here is an actual picture of the one up for aution right now.

So if you still have to plug it into the wall , how is it portable ?
There's a 12V car adapter in that picture, too.Originally Posted by jonjandran
But, yeah, I see what you mean. Is there a battery pack on this thing?
