Gaming Club to open at my High School Monday

For the past 3 weeks, me and a friend have been writing out a paper to look really nice and professional to give to the principal about opening a Gaming Club.

Well, today, we got word that it was approved.

In this club, everyone can bring a console if they want, although I am bringing my Genesis and PS2, and we have multiple TV sets to play on.(The club is set up in the A/V room =) ). Also, people can bring trading cards if they want (Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, Star Wars, ect.) and play on tables inside.

This was kind of a dream of ours to have in the school system ever since we were Freshmen, and it is a dream come true now!

Just thought I would share this little bit of info with you guys!

By the way, I forgot to add in, we will be giving lessons on how to play TCG's such as Magic, and also, giving students the opportunity to bring in games they are stuck in, and their memory cards, and all of us "geeks" in the club work together, and help eachother get past tougher parts in games!

Also, I will be giving pointers and tips on different Genres of games every day the club is open (2 or 3 days a week)

Actually, that is almost what I will have to do, the goal of the club is to get non-gamers to enjoy games, and hopefully become a gamer=0.

Also, a major goal is to teach some people about games BEFORE the Playstation came out, maybe making a few retro fans out there=0.
