    COULD A NES POWER PLUG ADAPTER WORK ON A REGULAR SEGA GENESIS SYSTEM MODEL 1??? COULD SOMEONE TEST IT OUT FOR ME! THAT WILL BE GREAT :/ :/ :o
    I HAVE A SEGA GENESIS MODEL 2! I HAVE THE SAILOR MOON GAME FOR THE MEGADRIVE SYSTEM! I DON'T HAVE A CONVERTER... BUT I HERED THERE IS A WAY TO BREAK OR REPLACE OR DISLOCK SOMETHING IN THE SEGA GENESIS MODEL 2!! CAN SOMEONE PLZ HELP ME!!!

    It might work. My experience is that you have a 50/50 chance because the Nintendo Power cord gives off ...I think 4 less amps than the sega cord. Which isn't enough to power up a genesis...BUT sometimes those NES power cords have a higher amperage than whats etched into the plug.

    You can try it, worst that will happen is that your sega won't power up.

    Powersupplies from SEGA are DC's, while Nintendo are AC's. Using the wrong type of powersupply might damage your system! I think it would be best to search for another powersupply or try to swap it with someone else who might need it...
