Are these colored N64 consoles hard to find? There's an Ice Blue one at a Gamestop near me for $19.99.....are these worth anymore than normal N64s? Just wondering if I should pick it up and hold onto it.

That seems to be the going rate for N64 consoles these days:

I'd assume the "Funtastic" consoles aren't as easy to find as the normal colored consoles, but not to the extent where people would pay a premium for them.
My pick for the only "rare" N64 consoles would be the gold colored console, which was a Toys 'R' Us exclusive, I believe, and maybe the Pikachu N64 with the Pokemon Stadium pack-in.
There aren't any N64's worth more than $19.99.
I mean there are a Gazillion on E-Bay right now for under $20.00.
I think that the N64 has to be the easiest system to collect right now.
I recieved a gold controller exclusive from toys'r'us when I originally bought mine. When the N64 was still around it was going for over $40. I havn't checked lately though. I would imagine the colored consoles would hold a small premium. I know I would rather have a different color one other than black.
yea i agree, ive picked up nfl blitz special editon for $7, which is supposed to be $20, according to the dp guide, and all the games ive picked up have been under priceOriginally Posted by jonjandran
i'd hazard a guess that in say 12 years, those colored consoles will go up in value. i've seen people get stupid over case variations on INTVs, 2600s, and saturns in the latter consoles. if we're still here then i'm sure somebody will bragging about having completed their color N64 collection. i'm hanging onto my "pod racer" boxed one, never know...
If anyone can get me a Red N64, lemme know.
Lick me! LICK ME!!
