Default Help me ID this old arcade game

When I was at UMass in the mid 90s, there was a shitty little arcade in a shitty mostly abandoned mall in Hadley. In the back of that arcade was a little game that didn't use a monitor. It projected images into a 3d like area with mirrors and actually looked REALLY cool. The gameplay was a Western theme (cowboys) and I CANNOT remember the name. I'm not even sure I'd recognize it... does this ring a bell with anyone? The gameplay reminded me of Dragon's Lair...

I vaguely remember that game, as the old "Tilt" arcade we had in town had one towards the back. I think it was sort of like a tabletop game if I remember correctly, but not quite. Was it "Time" something? Or was something like that in the title? Sorry, I probably hindered more than helping .

You are thinking of Sega's holosium

one was up for auction last time I went to one.. It had the really bad 3D fighting game in it though.

    It's Time Traveller. No question.

Ha Ha...........the Dead Mall in Hadley. I remember it well. I also went to UMASS, Amherst but graduated in 1993.

The arcade in the mall next door, the Hadley Mall I believe was way better and actually had a pretty good selection of games. Then there was the on campus arcade in the campus center next to the Hatch. That arcade was pretty cool for hanging out between classes. Back in the late 80's, early 90's they had cool games like APB, Cadash and 720 Degrees. I wasted sooo much time in there between classes, sometimes blowing off class altogether just to hang out and play vids.

    Those were the days............

Yeah, I used to spend hours playing the Star Wars arcade game right next to the caf after work (I worked at the Mexican/sub place in the caf). I remember one day I was putting up a score I'd never achieved before, I mean really kicking ass. I was on my last life, just soaring around, and dude bumps into me and makes me lose. I turn around, uncharacteristically angry, ready to tear the person a new one... and I'm staring squarely into a chest of a giant. Now, I'm 5-10, so for me to be staring into someone's chest that guy is massive. I look up and it's Marcus Camby. He looks down and says "oh crap, my bad" and keeps going. Good thing I didn't turn around swinging!

Anyway, yeah, you guys are right, it's Time Travellers. I'd LOVE to find another one of those to play through it now that I'm not scraping for every quarter anymore...

I'm lucky enough to have played it back then, yes a couple of them did make the UK. Crappy yes, but just because of the tech involved, worth spending some money on...

Yeah, I'd LOVE to play it again. I was so poor while in school that I could never play more than a quarter or two's worth. Who isn't when in college?

Is there some way to maybe do a query and find out if a game is located somewhere near you? Some mythical registry?

EDIT: Just found this, if anyone is interested...
