Yarghh, I still SHUDDER whenever I see that low kick with the broken shin. just a horrible sight, shocked the HELL out of Pettas too if you've ever seen his face when it happened.

wow, that is weird. inever knew about that.
by the ways, theres a lesson to be learned here: always wear shinguards.
I still even have that Pettas incident on tape. But, they make it sound like that never happens, when it happens fairly frequently in K-1. It happened to Sefo last year in the K-1 GP, just not so badly. But, it is unfortunate, Pettas was a pretty good fighter. Anyway, thanks for the read. I can't wait for this year's K-1 tourney.
I read a few years back ( a capcom book ) that Ryu and Sagat had some crazy ass fight! (also in the pics sagat didn't have the chest scar?)
Never the less Ryu Beat Sagats ass with a Dragon punch! this is meant to be where Sagat got his Chest wound / scar!?!
Just thought i'd drop that in, i didn't read the whole page of the link, so if this is already mentioned then (dooohhhh) but hope it helps all the same!?
I didn't read the page (damn backgorund music isn't good for surfing at work), but in the Street Fighter animated movie, Ryu does indeed give Sagat the big scar via a dragon punch.
the background music stops after like 3-4 seconds.
The article refers to the real-life fighters that ryu and sagat were based on. Not the videogame or comics or animated movies.
