Did you buy that from me by any chance? (ukdevil on Ebay). It's just that your username rings a bell and I sold my complete copy of Metroid II for about that amount!Originally Posted by Mayhem

Kids, adults, monkeys, it doesn't matter. Most people that buy games buy them to play, not to collect. As such, boxes don't mean squat to them. This is especially true with GB/GBA games. Think about it... it's a portable system. Now, people buy games for the portability. They aren't going to take the box that's bigger than the system with them on trips, and unless they are collectors there's just no use for the box. It's not stupid or mindboggling at all, it's just a different mindset.
That said, I keep my stuff complete just for re-selling. All my boxes are in big rubbermaid containers well out of my way.

I had a hard, HARD time getting a copy of Mr. Driller for game boy color. I think that one may be a bit hard to find, as well.

I myself couldn't have bought it since I was kicked off (no PayPal + Money Orders + other stuff = Oscuro was stupid, basically). However, I had my father do the transaction (only, ONLY thing I've gotten from eBay since, though there's lots of stuff there that I'd like even today). That said, my last name is not Oscuro and my father's first name isn't Ed. Must've been somebody else :POriginally Posted by devilman
The price I paid was $80.00 if I recall.
The only games I see really going for a whole lot are Mega Man 4 and 5. I usually see those go for over $35 routinlly.
I am in fact the guy that made the Raisins prototype worth thousands less by dumping it. "D'oh!!"
Thanks for everyones input!
