Default A definitive guide to the NES games: read before asking a ?

as seen on the gamefaqs.com message boards....

The following games are all common:
    Balloon Fight
    Clu-Clu Land
    Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong Jr. Math (common IN THE GAME, I SAID)
    Excitebike
    Golf
    Pinball
    Tennis

The following are harder to find, but confirmed:
    Baseball
    Clu-Clu Land D
Donkey Kong Jr. (Code at www.animal-crossing.com)
    Donkey Kong 3
    Ice Climber
    Punch-Out!
    Soccer (Code at www.animal-crossing.com)
Wario's Woods (Found on the GBA island)

Here are the methods of getting the NES games:
2 in the "grab bag" at the start of the first game on the included memory card
Dug up with the shovel, when buried by villagers (check the bulletin board)
    Sold by Redd
    Tom Nook's Raffle
    Buying extras from Tom
    eCards, probably
Toy Day (a special festival, I forget the date)
    Your Birthday
Given to you for completing a job (VERY, VERY RARE)

Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. and Legend of Zelda were given out in Japan due to a special promotion. Not likely you'll find them in the U.S. version.

There are 20 Games in Animal Crossing, Confirmed by nintendo and EGM. I've heard there is Zelda (Stateside as well as japan). Also, I CAN'T IMAGINE them NOT including super mario bros stateside.

I have seen on a site that they have all the trade codes for all the games, only thing is its from the japan version. Now heres the question will thoses codes work in the us version? I don't have an extra memory card to start a new town with the names they listed on there as the one needed to be used.
They evn have zelda and others listed......
So anyoneknow if they will work before i go nuts trying to find the site again?

    NO, They won't.

First off, I think the Japanese use... well... Japanese letters Hiragana, so it would be hard to put those into an english game

But I DO believe that I read somewhere the codes aren't exchangeable between countries.

Update: Wario's Woods can be gotten by playing around with the GBA islander (the islander can catch random rare items with the fishing pole, shovel and bug net), and it looks like all other rare games are e-Reader only.

It also looks like rare items can't be traded. What was Nintendo thinking when they made that decision?

Can someone tell me if there is a way to save the AC NES games onto the eReader? and if it's done with an item, does anybody want to trade for it?

Unfortunately no. You can only save NES eCard games onto the e-Reader. By the way:

    NES ECARDS, SET 2:
    Mario Bros.
    Donkey Kong
    Urban Champion
    Ice Climber
    Baseball
