    Default Reproduction Vectrex overlays

Anyone ever made these? I'd have to imagine it can't be that hard. I don't have any real ones... what type of plastic are they? Is it like overhead projection sheets, or a more soft plastic that works better with static electricity (and if so, who would want all that static on their electronics)?

They are actually a much firmer plastic that doesn't really touch the screen. Repro's have been made from transparencies and also work well. I ordered a full set a long time ago when I guy was making them, and still have a few left I no longer need since I got the real thing if you're at all interested. They take a bit of work to put together.

A friend of mine at Kinko's was able to do these - they're actually better than the originals (slightly thicker and more "vibrant") which makes them non-authentic. I'd have to ask him about the type of plastic and whatnot though.

Yeah, I'd be interested in that if you don't need them anymore...

Joe, if you can find that out, let me know... I wouldn't mind putting a little work into it to produce some and would, assuming it's cost effective, produce them for the board too.
