Default What's the Oldest Unbeaten Game You Own?

While straightening up my gaming center, I ran across a few games that I haven't beaten. One of these is the NES title, The Adventures of Bayou Billy. No matter how hard I try, I can't beat that game. If I'm not getting the crap kicked out of me by enemies that eat my powerup turkey leg, then I'm getting ambushed by 12' long reptiles in the swamp. Thanks, Konami, for a game that no one can beat without writing a fictional novel about it.

What's the oldest, unbeaten game you own?

I am pretty pathetic, but i cant beat Space Ace for SNES. I hate that game with a passion. I can get to the 3rd level all the time, but then i freakin die always. Someday ill beat it, but most likely not soon.

Which is odd.. because I haven't got an INTV in my collection yet..

No matter how hard I try I can't seem to beat Ed Sullivan for the Zenith. No matter what I try he always seems to come through with a "very good shoe".

    Adventures of Bayou Billy?

Now it was a looong time ago, but I vaguely remember beating that game. Didn't the end involve the game suddenly swtiching into a Vector graphics rendered ultrarealistic home family setting roughly akin to some sort of video nirvana?

    No?

Then certainly it involved a cheap parody of Daisy Duke in her white and pink tied off belly shirt and a stolen motor scooter.

SF - I apologize to any Happy Wander Boys I may have offended. On second thought, no I don't.

Bayou Billy is a tough game...but definitely beatable. The key? Get real good at the driving and shooting scenes....

I beat that game in three days w/ no game genie or anything

Indian Jones and the Temple of Doom for NES. It's the only pre-collecting game I own and have not beat. It's that damn level 9 (or is it 10) where you have to make skulls stay afloat on the lava to build a bridge to the other side. Is it even possible? Has anyone here ever done it? I've spent so much time waiting for a skull to appear in the spot I need but it never does. Plus you need TNT to make them stay afloat and I always run out of it. I even tried to cheat using game genie but there is no code to start on the next level. If somebody out there knows how to beat this game, for the love of God please let me know! It's been haunting me since 1991!!!!!!

Wasteland for the apple ][e. Absolutely my favorate game of all time. (sidenote.. if anyone has some input. I have the old PC version too but its totally unplayable. Something to do with it spawning millions of enemys probably because of processor speed). I may be doomed to never finishing that game.

For the 7800, Xevious, just frickn hard. And for the NES, marble madness (if there even is an end) is way too high on the frustration level.

As for me... hmmm. I'm sure there are lots of 2600 titles (Solaris) that I haven't beaten. But the one title that stands out in my mind as one I had WANTED to beat but never could was probably... Actraiser 2! Lordy that was such a dissapointment ... and way too difficult as well

I remember Indiana Jones for the NES... never beat it, but got damn close.

Some games I've never beaten, but tried:
Record of Lodoss War (DC) - even cheated, and still couldn't get through it. It's long.
Popful Mail MegaCD - never got around to finishing it
Startling Odyssey - Turbo Duo. Got to the end, but will never finish it. Long story.
