    Default Questions on Jaguar

I've got my eye on a Jaguar right now, CIB. It looks like it's in great shape, and the box looks to be in near perfect shape. Is $75 a good price for this?

Also, how rare is it to find a Jaguar CD, boxed, selling by itself? I'd like to get one of these too. Should I just wait until I find both systems being sold in one lot? Or would that be even harder to find, boxed?

Thanks for any help, I appreciate it.
I only need 2 more NES games (US)!

I think thats high for a boxed Jaguar. I would set a limit at $50 for a boxed Jag console, but thats just me. It worth whatever you are willing to pay man. Now, boxed JagCD's can sell for over $100, when they have all the bonus items that were packaged with them.

I got a boxed complete Jaguar, Jaguar CD and 13 complete games for $135 on ebay, so I would recommend buying a big lot of stuff all at once.

I agree. $75 is too high. You should be able to get a new one boxed for around $50-$60.

Here's one ending in 3 days for $39.99

I bought mine from this guy and it includes one game for $56.00

Jaguar CD players tend to run about double that price, even triple if new. Check this out

Also you can try buying direct from B&C Computers

$75 is high for just the unit, but I'd also say that $40 is a bit low.

Jag prices are very volatile. A system with 4 games sells for a significant amount more than a system with 2 games, no matter how crappy they are. Couple that with regular fluctuations and you're all over the map.

Watch the market, you'll figure out when to buy after a while.

Do you have to have them CIB? If not, you can get a great deal buying someones used bundle. I wouldn't pay THAT much for a Jag cd. There's only like 5 real non-FMV games for it, none that great. I think there were a lot of them made, little demand for them and they were blown out at $30-$50 new just a few years ago. I remember back then when people were buying them from these sales and a lot of them were DOA or became defective within a short time.

It doesn't have to be completely mint or come with all the packing material, but I don't buy hardware without its box.

got my jag from a store for 45$ which included: Defender 2000, kasumi Ninja, and Troy Aikman Football. I have a question though, is defender 2000 rare? I have been seeing going for like 50 or 60$ on ebay lately.

Well they are a bit heavy and if you notice, the one seller is shipping it priority and the other one is shipping it from Canada. The one I got from Canada came in a matter of 2-3 days, so it was rather quick.

I know this Canadian site has new systems/games for sale http://shop.techdepotcanada.com/app/.../category.8/.f
I know congobongo and omnedon have had success ordering from them. Not sure if they ship to the US though.

I agree, don't pay more than 50 and make sure if you pay 50 bucks that the Jaguar is new and sealed in the box

collectorscardsandgames.com is where I got mine. It was about $30-35, and the box is a few dollars more. It's a great place to pick up stuff.
