Christmas is quickly approaching. The problem with my dad and I is that we both make enough money where we pretty much buy whatever we want throughout the year. That makes Christmas both fun and difficult.
Recently my dad and I were talking about our first computer, the TRS-80 Model III. He was saying how he was bummed that most of the games he used to play aren't emulated well.
SO. I was thinking about buying him a TRS-80 Model III, just like the one we used to have. Anyone have one?
I'm ALSO looking for any Scott Adams related software -- the programmer of Adventureland, NOT the Dilbert writer. I have already e-mailed Scott Adams and he said he would autograph something for my dad, if I have something to send him. Unfortunately, all of our old TRS-80 software is long gone, so I have nothing to send him to autograph. If worse comes to worse, I'm going to buy a TRS-80 Model III, ship it to Scott Adams, have him autograph THAT, and send it back to me. That's still going to be a pain in the ass to ship all around, so it's a last resort in that arena.
