Yea it is time. That game has been out for ever. Just about every x-box owner has it, and it was still 50 bucks.

I still want the game, but I still say $30 for a game thats over a year old and mass produced on an obscene level is still too much.
I'll wait till it drop for $15-$20
price drop, about time.....
I mean its a great game and all, but I cant think of a game holding to a price
for so long.

I want the second copy for that day when it's not one of them who wants to play Halo linked up..
Everytime I go look for a second copy they are $40.00-$50.00..even on Ebay..
Man this game is old....It still Rocks though...But I figured I'd find one for$20.00 atleast be now..
I wonder if I'd find any used copies now for $15-$20..?
I just waited for the PC version and bought that one, same as I'm going to do with Knights of the Old Republic.

I'll just wait for Halo 2 to come out, and the price should drop again.
At least I hope so.
I still find it rather depressing that a large portion of the console's "success" still rides on this one game alone more than a year after it launched.
It's a shame to miss out on the co-op part of the game.Originally Posted by SoulBlazer

I'm buying it on black Friday, Why? It's $20 at Circuit City!
Egbert, I miss you...
Hmmm...I might get it then! Thanks for the heads up!Originally Posted by Querjek

Co-op is with someone helping you against the enemy. On single player mode you got through together and help each other. It's awesome especially when using tanks and other vehicles.Originally Posted by SoulBlazer
Co op in my opinion is the best thing to happen to FPS games since online.
Well, I have'nt even played the game yet, to be honest with you. And I'm not really a FPS fan anyway. About the only ones I've liked are the System Shock games, Deus Ex, and Half Life. Oh, and Elite Force 1 and 2.

You sound like a man after my own dark heart I love ALL of those....except Half-Life...but I haven't played that since it came out. Deus Ex is my favorite FPS EVER, followed by the SS games. I just got Tron 2.0 and that's pretty good too (although I have to upgrade my RAM and GPU to run it smooth in high res mode! Doh!) and Return To Castle Wolfenstein was GREAT until about 2/3 of the way through, when the enemies with the friggin Tesla weapons start obliterating you with no fair chance. I love the FPS genre, and most of those games too! By the way...how IS Elite Force 2? I played 1 and honestly, I wasn't that impressed...it was WAY too easy and the story was a bit poorly written for such heavy dialogue IMO.Originally Posted by SoulBlazer
As for Deus Ex, I'm getting Invisible War....SOON! Can't wait! It's on my "Get it or I'll strangle you" list for my wife's Xmas shopping!

I've tried out the PC version of Halo and the co-op mode was unfortunately omitted. Sheesh, considering a LAN would be an easier setup than two X-Box consoles and dedicated televisions, Bungie and Gearbox can bite me.
Now, I've got a pretty beefy machine but it still chugged at some points, even at 800x600, and from what I've read in reviews slowdown is common.
Despite this the enemy AI was pretty impressive imo, but then I don't play FPS games religiously, last one was Return to Castle Wolf.
AWESOME. I'll pick it up black Friday at CC (where I work, so I can get to it before the mobs ).
