    Default Rotisserie Video Game League

    It's a game.

    It's EASY.

    It's alphabetical!

I'll start with the letter "A". On my turn, I will name a video game that starts with this letter. I get one point for naming this game, one that no one else has named previously (regardless of system). My point doesn't count unless I say something about the game. A single sentence is enough, but I can say more if I'd like.

I will receive a number of points equal to that letter's SCRABBLE tile value. The values are as follows:

    A: 1
    B: 3
    C: 3
    D: 2
    E: 1
    F: 4
    G: 2
    H: 4
    I: 1
    J: 8
    K: 5
    L: 1
    M: 3
    N: 1
    O: 1
    P: 3
    Q: 10
    R: 1
    S: 1
    T: 1
    U: 1
    V: 4
    W: 4
    X: 8
    Y: 4
    Z: 10

There must be at least three players between me and my next post (play), but there's nothing stopping me from playing every fourth post either.

If someone posts with the same letter I did, and my post came in second, my post doesn't count, so I can go again. Otherwise, the next person posts the letter after mine... or the letter A if we've gone through the alphabet.

I will keep my own score, which I will call out at the end of my post.

Activision Anthology - A delicious assortment of Atari 2600 games well-emulated on both PS2 and Game Boy Advance, more than 20 years after the original games were released. Delicious, I tell you.

    I have one point!

    You're next.

Brave Fencer Musashi - A 2-1/2D PSX platformer from Square with a some nice RPG elements, fantastic voice work, and a neat story. Also, suprisingly difficult in some places.

    I have 3 points!

Einhander - Possibly the best shooter available on the PS and desperately needs a sequel.

    I have 1 point.

Fantastic Voyage: Maybe not the most obvious of the "F" series, but a damn fine vertical shooter for the Atari 2600, loosely based on the movie. Hey, look at how well the 2600 handles multiple different enemy types and the speed of the game! WOW.

    I have 5 points now!

Golgo 13: An underrated action/spy game for the NES, also the first console game I can recall seeing in which there's a love scene.

Should be 2 points for that.....

Ghosts'n Goblins: An incredibly challenging platformer wherein a gangly knight hunts demons while in his underwear. You know you love it.

Edit: I have 0 points because SoulBlazer beat me to the punch. Curse his mighty speed!
