Default HELP! Need selling advice please...

    Hello all,
If you read my earlier post then you know that I don't know anything about selling games. However, I am trying to sell my collection of game boy games and am trying to think of a good and fair price. The digipress gameboy list is incomplete so I have no idea what to ask. If anyone feels like suggesting a ballpark figure I would greatly appreciate it since I have already had multiple people interested in my whole lot. Here is a list of my games (no boxes or manuals though all in good or better condition).

    -Game Boy (color black)
    -The Amazing Spider-Man
    -Batman the Video Game
    -Tetris
    -Ultima Runes of Virtue
-Tiny Toon Adventures: Bab's Big Break
    -Metroid II: Return of Samus
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan
    -Tecmo Bowl
    -Gargoyle's Quest
    -The Addams Family
    -Kwirk
    -The Castlevania Adventure
    -Kirby's Pinball Land
-The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

If I were trying to get in to selling I wouldn't ask, but since this is a one-time only deal for me I thought someone may be able to help me. Thanks very much - Pwine

On Ebay you would get around $80-$100 for that lot.
It has some nice games that some people might be looking for , so you might offer it up seperately and then what doesn't sell put up as a lot.

Cool, thanks, but which ones do you consider to be "nice" and what could be possibly asked for them?

Dude, use www.ebay.com - Advanced Search/Completed Item - to get an idea as to what's popular and their asking prices. For example:

    Gameboy CastleVania Adventure Game $7.50 14 Dec-07 20:43
    The CastleVania Adventure $3.50 5 Dec-08 13:50
    *CASTLEVANIA ADVENTURE GAMEBOY FREE S&H* $8.00 10 Dec-08 18:50

    GAMEBOY / GAME BOY GAME - METROID 2 II $11.50 4 Dec-08 18:15
    GAMEBOY COLOR - METROID II RETURN OF SAMUS $9.50 1 Dec-09 07:59
Metroid II: Return of Samus Game Boy $6.50 3 Dec-09 18:28

    Gameboy Tiny Toon Bab's Big Break Game Boy $9.00 13 Dec-10 10:14
    TINY TOON BAB'S BIG BREAK GAMEBOY COLOR/ADV $4.00 1 Dec-17 20:23

    Etc.
    Still Around...Still Gamin'...

Please keep in mind that these are Ebay prices and you shouldn't expect quite as much for them if you sell them here.

Metroid II: Return of Samus $12-15
    Kirby's Pinball Land $8
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening $12-15
    The Amazing Spider-Man $10
    Batman the Video Game $8
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan $8
    The Castlevania Adventure $8

    Well a couple of questions-

    1. What are you wanting to get dollar wise for the package, I mean the bare minimum? Figure that out before you do anything

Second Search for each of the games on ebay then look for completed items, then you can get an idea for what they go for. I would list the system and 2 of the lower value games in a package, and then list the others seperately. Put a reserve price (the bare minimum you would take) and go from there. But 80-100 is about right, more if there are manuals etc.

    Its not rocket science

you have to be an ebay member to do a completed item search now

I'm a member, but it's aggrivating to sign in just to do a completed item search....

And to make it worse, now when I try to do the search with Internet Explorer it keeps asking for my password and won't let me search.
I have to use Netscape to search now.
