Once again, looks like I have no reason to hit the East Coast this spring.

From organizing the Midwest Gaming Classic, I can say that these events take a lot of time and money to put on. Perhaps the organizers decided that in order to make the show the absolute best that they could they would postpone it so they could work out all of the kinks.
I think that if they chose a non-holiday weekend in fall so as to not be compared with the other East Coast event PhillyClassic, they could create a really unique and really awesome show! I'm definitely hoping for it. The gaming community can use all the shows it can get!

Well, at least now you'll be able to go to that off-Broadway play with a clear conscience.Originally Posted by Sniderman

This postponing might actually work out better for me...so its not all bad. :P
Don't worry though, it'll be back up.
Well there is always Philly Classic people, I know some have a bitter taste in your mouth, but this isn't Jr. High.....
I look forward to obtaining goods for trade or cheaply that I can not find anywhere else.
It's like the Ultimate East Coast Video Game Garage Sale!!!!
So.. on that note. Again. We need a Philly Classic Sticky on this board. It is considered a major event for gamers/collectors.

Agreed. However, some folks failed to act as adults when all the sh!t initially exploded, so there's that. (And, for once, I won't post a link back to the thread/event that started it all.) I personally feel as if PC5 is gonna be a hard sell around here, as there was a ton of animosity and attitude flung all over the place, and there are too many regulars who were on the receiving end of the idiocy - on both ends, I suppose. (My meager mea culpa.)Originally Posted by grandamchandler
Those who want to attend PC5 are more'n welcome to enjoy themselves. Have a good time. Tell me all about when it's over.

I would agree with that, I even told others the same faith might happen toOriginally Posted by goatdan

Yeah I followed those PC threads through the whole Game Jam/jelly thing... agreed it was weird, and some acted rashly on both ends of the party.....but....
It's still all about the games.
(Note: Im that peace-keeper kinda person, I hate conflict)
