Default I finally got it! Metal Slug 1st impressions

Been a long time since I played it (nearly 8 years or so) so this is like a re-introduction. DAMN is the game crazy as hell. I admit, I cheated w/ infinite lives so I didn't have to keep hitting the credit switch on my supergun, but god I HAD to have gone through 40 lives or so. This is sad considering I probably only lost 2 lives on the first two missions.

Still, this game fucking rocks. Period. Everyone who has a Neo setup of some kind MUST PLAY THIS NOW!

    Metal Slug 3 is better.

I die alot in any of the slugs. First level or two is easy, then it gets insane.

I have a friend who pretty much only comes by to visit when he wants to play Slug. Now that I have Slug X on the way, I'm sure I'll be seeing even more of him

I've recently gotten into the Metal Slug series, but I cant afford an AES, or anything like that, so I got a Neo Geo Pocket Color so I could play Metal Slug first mission. It's not quite the same, but its still fun. I have beaten twice in the past two days !

I have the kit sitting here...just waiting for a machine for me to shove it in and piggy it up with food powerups!

Yeah man, MS is sweeeet. I can blaze thru most of that game no problem, but I always get smashed at the Bridge stage. Thats the single hardest level I've played out of the Slugs that I own.

I think MS1 has the best bosses, because I just like the whole WWII theme going on anyway, and these bosses really fit well with the game. My favorite is the Giant Tank on stage 3, it's so hilarious it reminds me of the land battleship the Nazi's were designing . Sweet dude, you'll be playing this for weeks gauranteed.
