    Default Arcade Cab Dimensions

What are the dimensions on an average arcade cab?
I'm gonna start hunting for a dead one to turn into a mame cab... but I heave a feeling I won't be able to get it to fit into my apt.

Well here's the dimensions for my Neo Geo MVS /Big Red..in Sig..
    Height: 68.00"
    Width: 25.50"
    Depth: 37.50"

    Weight: 225 lbs
    Act Dim Wt: 288 lbs
    Ship Dim Wt: 427 lbs

    Barely fit through door..

And My MVS Candy Cab in sig..

The Tekken 3 Machine I have is huge and had to be taken apart to get in here..So measuring that wouldn't be helpful..

    I'd reccomend you try www.arcadecontrols.com

You should be able to find a link to a website that will have actual cabinet plans and the like.

    Yes, yes, and yes.

Oh, and most arcade cabs will fit through a standard sized door.

Videogamedaryll, what's your source for those MVS dimensions? Are they measurements that you took yourself? Are you sure about the height?

About your MVS cab, do you know the angle of the CP? Out of the zounds of arcade games I've played, I think the MVS cabinet is one of the most comfortable--particularly the CP. So, congrats on owning one! You have good taste. And, if you could share the precise angle measurements, I would be most appreciative. Plus, it may help out others like Sph1nx, as well.

    My tempest cab measures

26" Wide, 32" Deep and slightly less than 70" high.

It fit through the door without a problem.
