Default Picture request: Bathtub scene from Eternal Darkness

Yes, it's creepy. Yes, I want a picture of it. I want a picture of it because it's creepy.

Oh, and sorry for dredging up bad memories with this topic.

    Default Me too!

I'd like a pic as well. I keep hearing about how disturbing it is, but I never played that far into the game. I kind of lost interest in it. Perhaps if the pic is freaked out enough, it will spark my interest again. That is unlikely though :P

The hint book from Prima for the game has a pic in it. Maybe someone can scan it and blow it up?

A single picture totally would not do that moment justice.

You'd need the full five second sequence of images presented to you very suddenly, when you're not expecting it, for it to be conveyed properly.

Also, it's not that far into the game, maybe 3-4 hours.

Yeah, I agree. You need to be immersed in the atmosphere to really be freaked out. The sound really plays a big part in it also.

i loved that moment - it's probably the biggest shock scare i've had in a game (actually made me jump) as not only did i not know anything about it going to happen, but i was playing in a dark room about 1-2 in the morning - so really imersed in the game

Back when the game came out I mentioned this here... when I first saw that scene, it was a little bit of a shock but I actually had a PHYSICAL reaction to it - my right eye began to tear. That's never happened to me before or since. It was so crazy that I went back to my save game to try it again. THIS time, knowing exactly when and where it was going to happen, and it happened again the second time! Crazy stuff.

I never did play the game through a second time, I wonder if it would have that effect on me every time? Hmm.

That scene made me jump, and made me immediatly feel ten times more feminine for being that frightened of a video game. I never finished that game, it didn't really capture my attention the farther i progressed. I also wonder how... bad the picture looks. You get such a brief glance that there is bound to be all kinds of polygonish and bad textures that would make me feel even more 'tarded.

I just thought I'd wander by to...erm...comment on the fact that about 200 people have viewed this topic. Wonder what they were looking for? How many folks here have played the game? Not me.

Though, to be fair, you put together ED + bathtub = creepy. That's what I'm thinking.

not pr0n related at all. no sir.
