Shit, you used to be able to buy it online up until not too long ago. I'm sure someone here can give you the link... I deleted it.
I'm pretty sure the game is useless without the bike setup, though.
Even though they say it's no longer in production, doesn't mean they're out of it. They were offering them for $175 (just the carts....) as of 2001. I sent them an email, and we'll see what's up. I delayed on buying it, solely because it's $175! Prety pricey for a cart readily available (at the time).

Yea I was just wondering about it bc I didnt notice it on any lists and no one has, that I have seen, talked about it as being an expensive cart that they dont have to make a complete collection. Do people not consider this cart necessary to have a complete collection, or do I just miss when people talk about it?

Yeah, no one really counts it, sometimes if they even have it. It's odd.
NES - Racermate - No.
SNES - Exertainment - Yes.
Genesis - Heartbeat - No.
While the jury is still out on Outback Joey on the Genesis, SNES is a closed case. As far as the NES, I think a few things fit everybody, for they:
a. have it already
b. know it is/was readily available, and are just lazy/don't want to pay
c. don't know about it
d. don't count it as it's not a retail release per se
People under AB would count it, CD would not. Personally? I'm a B. Know that the listing is off their site, I'd buy it now, if they still have it.
Just waiting for a second reply email back from them. If there's any left, I'll gladly spearhead an order of what they have left, and with any luck, get them for much less than $175. (Because, I, still, don't want to pay that much)

Topic, wise from your gwave, and inform the masses:
Computrainer is OUT of Racermate carts. Officially. If you are a NES completist, or if you count this as a US set title, get your wallets and eBay watch lists ready....
