Riven (PAL Saturn version) - can it be played in German?

I have just had a query about this because I have a copy on auction. It ends today, and I am at work so I cannot check. I was just wondering if anyone knows, is there any German language option on this game?

As far as I remember there isn't really any text or speech in the game that really matters anyway ... it is all based on what you see around you. Is that right, or are there parts that would be impossible if you did not know English?

if i'm not mistaken, the manual is in a couple of languages including german, so that should help out a bit...
