Default Broken Donkey Kong Country 3 SNES Game....

Well I sold a set of DK Country 1,2,3 on Ebay the other day and the guy finally sends a money order.

So I go to package the games up and figure I better test them out first.....duh !!

Well the first 2 test fine but the 3rd one won't start. I proceed to do acontact cleaning and try again .......Still nothing.....Getting mad I take the game apart and hold it up to the light and WTF !!!!

    Half the board is cracked....

Now I don't have another DKC 3 and I don't want to refund the money, Soooooooooo............

I sit down at my workbench and re-attach every broken circuit I can find. 19 in all..... Using small wire and even solder as a jumper.

Then I sandwich the pcb back together between pieces of cardboard , tape it good, reinsert it in the Snes game cart and screw it together.

Pop it in and it works perfect, even after the wiggle and yank and prod tests.....

Took me over an hour but I didn't have to refund that Dang money now did I ?

Well just thought I'd share that with you........

Good God man, the mind boggles.

I remember fixing a Super Star Wars cart by checking each trace and finding a break just before a solder joint at the rom chip.

However, if I bought a DK3 cart from you, aaaaaand one of those connections were to come loose, aaaaand I opened up the cart to see what the problem was, aaaaaaaaand I discovered you sold me a broken-in-half cart board, I'd be pissed as hell.

In other words, you should have at least told the guy what you discovered then offered him either a refund, discount, or an as-is thingy. While I admire that you git the beast working, it's not fair to the buyer to sell it to him without telling him what was wrong.
