The first console my family had was an NES, which my sisters and I got for christmas in 1987 with SMB/Duck Hunt, Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle and The Adventures of Dino Riki.

The first one that was all mine was a Game Boy I got christmas of 93 or 94 (I don't remember which) along with Darkwing Duck, TaleSpin, Wario Land and Super Off Road. They must have stopped packing in Tetris by then because I remember getting that game seperately later.

Mom told me later that she originally got the games as a way of improving my hand-eye coordination (which I guess was important for an autistic kid). I don't know how much it helped, but I sure had a lot of fun.

Coleco Telstar Colortron was the first video game we had on our TV. My dad bought it for us and it rocked the house.

After that it was the Sears VCS.

The good old NES...That was my first too. I got it on my 4th birthday. Opening it up and playing Super Mario Bros would forever change me... It wasn't too long that I discovered Contra, Double Dragon, and Mega Man and it was all downhill from there. Not long after that, I got a Sega Genesis and the rest is nerd history.

Sega Master System in 1987/1988. My Dad worked two jobs and my mom needed something to keep me occupied while she was pregnant.
Still have it and all of the games too. I have never had an issue with it yet.

I received an NES on Christmas when I was 4 in 1988 I didn't even know what video games were outside of the green Apple II screens at school. It was a nice surprise and I spent many days playing Super Mario Brothers with my dad....I will never forget how he would pull the couch up right to the TV and whenever he would make Mario jump...he'd jump out of his seat!

My first game console was the top loading NES, i don't remember how i actually came into posession, I think it might have been
a friend of my mother's. My favourite games for it were Mario Bros and Battletoads. I still own my top loader but i have only 3 carts for it a 3 in 1 with (SMB,Tetris and some soccer one). Flintstones and Battletoads. Most of my best memories were when i visited my uncle who had a Mega Drive and i'd play with him, mostly MK3. When he moved onto bigger and better things (PC gaming) he gave me his games and mega drive.

Atari 2600. The first video game I ever played was Combat. It took a while before I figured out the reason the other tank wasn't moving was because it was a two player only game. I was four, give me a break.

I don't remember the specific model, but it was a Telstar console, one knob on either side of the unit for playing Pong and derivative games like Jai Alai.

my first ever game system was a good old Game Boy, black color.

I remember buying it at an american import/export store in Turkey. Bought Primal Rage together with it.

Deja Vu as I thought I posted something like this before, but at any rate the first system we had was Intellivision. I was very young and didn't really understand what it was, I just remember the dealer in Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack and then some memories of Bowling (still a GREAT classic bowling game). I always seemed to enjoy my neighbor's Atari 2600 more, but it wasn't until I got older that I really realized how great the ole INTV really was. I played a LOT of Burgertime, Utopia and Astrosmash.

The very first console I had growing up was one of the Coleco Telstar Pong units.

Then it was Coleco Telstar Combat, Coleco Telstar Arcade followed by the Atari 2600. (and eventually many more systems)

My first console was the original Game Boy! I got it for my birthday in 1996 togheter with Asterix (Never liked it, it was too hard back then) and because of that, handheld systems has always been my favorite ones!
