Default Genesis/SNES/TG-16: Which did you own FIRST?

It's well documented that my first 16-bit-wars system was the TG-16, and just a few days later I bought a Genesis

How about you? I'm not asking you which you think is best. I'm asking you which did you own first.

First system for me was the SNES. Christmas 1991. Received the SNES and 6 games... and that was enough to keep me happy for many moons.

Genesis came second, and I still don't own a TG16.

    Sadly... the SNES

Over the life of which I bought a total of 2 games... Super Bonk and Mortal Kombat. I had the pack-in Super Mario World and Super Mario All Stars freebie.

Then TG16 (which quicky started grabbing my money...)

    Then Genesis... (circa 1997)

SNES here too I got it mostly because my oldest friend (and now housemate) had the Megadrive (Genesis) so we had both bases covered when it came down to games. He'd play Mario on my system I'd play Sonic on his we lived only a couple streets away from each other (less than 5 minutes walk) so we had many hours of gaming each night }:D

I got a Genesis in the summer of '91. It came with Sonic the Hedgehog. I never actually owned an SNES until probably 1997 or '98. I used to play my friend's SNES all the time though. Thats how I got hooked on Zelda: A Link to the Past.

As for TG-16, I didn't have one until last year. I bought one on eBay for about $60 with 4 controllers, a turbotap, and three games. I haven't really got around to picking many games up for it yet.

    SNES for me, Christmas 1991.

I remember sneaking into my parent's bedroom and playing the system while they were at work. Then my Mom came home early one day and caught me.

I didn't get my own Genny until 1997-98, and I got my own TG-16 in 2001.

I got my first SNES in January of 1995, and my Sega Genesis in 2003. Haha!

My first was the Genesis in 2000. Then TG-16 and finally SNES, both in 2001 (I think).

I got the Genesis the week it came out. And I still have it to this day. I don't think I ever owned a SNES till last year. The TG-16 I didn't ever own till 6 months ago.

My parents bought me a TG16 the Xmas of the system launch. About 2 years later I went and sold it and my games for SNES money. Fast forward about 10 years and I bought it back again (in the form of a PC Engine Duo R). In 2002, i -finally- bought a Genesis.

For me it went Genesis, SNES, Turbo Grafx 16.

I saved up money and bought the Genesis for myself when it was the 1st model and cost around $200. The same night I bought the Menacer Gun for $100 and I think an extra game or two. What did games for it cost then, like $50? So that was all the money I had, but I loved every second of it. Then much much later, I think in 2002 or 2003 I bought my SNES off eBay for around $30 shipped with one game and one controller. Then I found this awesome site and learned about the TG-16 and had to have one. So, right before XMas 2003 I did a buy-it-now on eBay for $80 shipped for a boxed TG-16 with all documents and 7 complete except for outer cardboard box games. I like all three systems and would never get rid of any of them.

I had a SNES first around '92 [SFII pack], back in the days before I was a rampart Sega-holic. Acquired my first Megadrive in (I think) '95 (another 10 or 11 have since followed )
I briefly had a CoreGrafx around '99, but still no TG16.
