By all means, turn me into a child star.... Perhaps I can move to Californ-i-ay and wrangle me a three-way with the Olsen twins
Thats just a TAD bit high... Hell i dont have that controller, but ill sell my 50 games and NES for that much.....
He's probably doing that to appease the wife, and say "See look, no was willing to buy this, gonna have to keep it for a while longer. " Trying to be all sneaky.
I emailed the seller of that auction and asked him if $1500 is the right price or if its a typo. I wonder what his response will be.
i think i would go with the make wife happy by trying approach also.

Ugh. This is probably one of those sellers like those damn people at the flea market who think that since they paid 50.00 for each game at one time they should get at least 40.00 out of each game now. Those people really piss me off!
Well, at 30 games x 40.00 that = 1,200. Plus factor in 300.00 for the system it warrents his extremely STUPID 1,500.00 price tag.
Damn, that means my NES collection is worth 490 games x 40.00 + 3 systems at 300.00 each = 20,500.00! Any buyers? I'll sell it all for 20,000.00 shipped if you want it. Maybe the seller would like to buy it! I think I'll e-mail him an offer.
Well I received a response back from the seller. Here it is.

>My fiance posted the Nintendo on Ebay on Saturday morning. Shortly
after, our neighbor came over and really wanted to buy the set. We
couldn't take the item off, since it was already posted, but could revise the
price. So, we priced it so high that nobody would bid on it. I regret
that we already promised the system to our neighbor, who bought it for
$100.

>Sorry I can't be of any help to you.

DUH! Doesnt she know she can delete the item off of Ebay. Apparently not..
Now this is just the occassion that I wish I had won the lottery or something and had so much money that I didn't know what to do with it. If that was the case I would bid on this and pay for it just to piss off the neighbor, cuz most likely he already paid and has it in his house. They would have some trouble explaining that one to their neighbor.

His neighbor is stupid. I would have offered him $75. That's $2 for each game and $15 for a system.....it's just not worth more than that in one shot...
Did you tell him he can delete it? I would.
Either that, or go the evil route and bid on it. Win it. And then complain that they didn't sell it to you.
I don't think individuals can "delete auctions". They can end them early, but if you really wanted to, you could still see the item in the "completed auctions" search.
