I was hopeing that instead of remakes of titles, there would be a post in this thread such as:
How about a game where individuals start off as children, and each one has to acquire a reasonable amount of experience by meeting new characters, listening to the advice of a really wise-type of sensei, building things, going to school & taking exams, etc. And the child makes decisions that have an overall affect on maturity (increase or decrease with each decision), and through the course of the game, the child becomes an adult and has to deal with increasing complexities and has to make more meaningful choices, such as career, acquisition and sale of assets, marriage/family, and the way he or she behaves during crises has a huge impact on the experience gained towards increasing levels.
