Default I got my 50th 'Readers Letters' letter published, in UKs PDA

Essentials, issue 22. And it's the letter of the month, which got me a free one year subscription of the mag. The letter is about the Atari Portfolio, for you guys who want to know what it was about.

I am an essential letter writer to many of UK video gaming/computer/console magazines since 1987. I won the letter of the month in C&VG and Micro Mart (letter of the week) and had many letters published in Edge, Total, PC Format, Sega Power, N64, Ultimate, Atari User, Commodore 64 and Amiga magazines, Super Play, Game Boy magazine, OPM, OX-Box magazine (my letter to Official X-Box magazine cost a writer his job !! Poor soul), and many more. My first gaming letter was published when I was still living in Germany in the then excellent Aktueller Software Markt in 1986 (I defended the classic Atari 8-bit computer).

    Whilst on the writing subject.
I co-founded the 80s fanzine 8/16 (XE/ST) with my friend Colin, and I have written articles for USA fanzines Digital Press, The 2600 Connection and UK fanzines Retrogames and Retro Classix. In Retrogames I was honoured (voted) 'Best writer of the year'.
