    Default Weekday Finds - March 22/2004 - 25/2004

Looks like I'm the topic maker this time! My finds were good.

SEALED The Legend Of Zelda - NES - Original Gold version Mint - 20.00
    SEALED Contra Force - NES - Mint - 20.00

Found these at a WESTERN AUTO! The guy up there was a real jerk though, he was wanting 50.00 each Then after a little negotiating, which he turned into arguing, I got them at 20.00 each. He had 10 different ones up there (2 Super Team Games, Bartman Vs. Radioactiveman, Goonies 2, Track & Field 2, Burai Fighter & 2 more I can't remember) but nothing worth bothering with at 20.00 each, sealed or not. I've just never seen a guy act like such a JERK toward someone offering to give him money before. He at first told me 50.00 for those 2, I asked "how about 40.00", he gets cocky and says "how about 50.00". Ugh, I can't believe people act like such ass holes sometimes.

Rest of the finds were pretty blah in comparision.

King of the Fighters 99 - PS one - 5.00

    Maken X - Dreamcast - 3.50

    Bonkers - SNES - 2.00
    Space Football - SNES - 1.50

    PSone Mouse - 3.00

You must've been excited because somehow you've made three threads about it.

I can't WAIT for the weather to get nicer so I can hit the fleas/garage sales...patience, must have patience.

Not only once, but twice! LOL You aren't the only one to do this today :)

Wow, those are some great finds, even if one is Contra Force (I would love to find one in that condition)!

My find today was a Dreamcast controller, $1.58 after tax. Not too great, but my Kiosk DC needs hookups, starting with the controller :0

Then you say "how about I walk and you never sell those over priced games because you wouldn't sell them to me"

    Actually found this this weekend:

Saturn Virtual On: Netlink Edition loose - $13

I don't know what I'm going to do with it.....

He said he was still selling them And that he'd loose money by selling them cheaper than that. Yeah, sure, people are still buying those games shoved in the corner of a shitty hardware store caked in dust...and I believe after you've had something for 15 years in the same store that "loosing money" is inevitable.

    Some people....I just don't understand.

Not really a true find, but I got my first issue of Cube today, and it came with an AR disk and a DVD. Pretty awesome mag compared to the US crap.
    Egbert, I miss you...

Went to a thrift today and found a Super Mario Bros. 3 Complete under a register as I was leaving. Nothing else worth mentioning.

@Bender-rulz- - If they have another Paper Mario complete, could you snag me one? I'm also looking for Super Mario 64 if they have it too.

    And today's finds:

NES toploader with one dogbone controller, one classic controller, and RF: $15

    NES games: $2 each

    Ninja Gaiden
    Snake's Revenge
    Seicross
    Dr. Mario
    Donkey Kong Classics

And after more than 5 MONTHS of waiting, I got these in the mail
    Lunar (Sega CD)
    Vay (Sega CD)
Raycrisis (PSX) - which completes my PSX Working Designs Collection

Well these were from the weekend, but since no one will read that thread much now, here goes. Almost everything was from one Goodwill and a couple from the Salvation Army (VHS). I know the Genesis sport games are not worth $2.50, but they are mint and complete. The Tron game was over priced too, but I think in the grand scheme of things it balances out.

    PC

Leisure Suit Larry III w/ guide book $2.98

Leisure Suit Larry Goes Looking For Love In Several Wrong Places $1.98

Shiloh: Grant's Trial In The West complete w/ map $1

Also, inside that box were these loose discs:

    Disc 2 & 3 of Sorcerian
    Family Feud (copy)
    VGA Paint
    Touch Type Tutor
    Math Castle
    School Mom

ZPC: No Flesh Shall Be Spared (new) $.99

    Lexi Cross $1.98

Gobliins 2: The Prince Baffoon $.99

Touch Down Football $1.48 (for the IBM PC Jr)

    Saturn

    Double Switch $1.98

    Bases Loaded $1.48

    Genesis

NHL All Star Hockey 95 $1.98 (Canadian version)

    NFL 95 $1.98

    Vectorman 2 (new) $2.50

    Intellivision

    Tron: Deadly Discs (sealed) $9

    Atari

Star Trek (for Atari 400/800/1200XL) $.99

    NES

System w/ two controllers, two zappers, RF and AC adapter $9.99

    VHS

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles $.69

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III $.69
    What have you done America?
