Anybody else love this game? Anybody know of other ports or sequels besides the pc version. The only other two I know of are Genesis, and amiga I think.

Cool people I have bought stuff from on this board: orrimarrko kyosuke75 dave2236 video_game_addict cloudstrife29661 NESCollector75
Great game it was also well ported to the Atari ST. I've played the Genesis and ST version, prefer the ST version with mouse control. There was also an Amiga version like you mentioned, didn't think about the PC version but that makes sense
I'd like to play the copy I have for the Genesis...but none of my 4 Genesis systems can play it

I used to love playing Zany Golf on the Amiga. Easily the best mini golf game that I've ever played (not that it has a lot of competition though).
It's too bad the Genesis version only works on the extremely early versions of the system. Have you tried sticking it on a Game Genie or a Pro Action Replay?

No, I haven't...of course...I don't think I have a Genesis Game Genie...

Zany Golf was great! I played that at a friend's house, I think on a Mac.
I'd like to get it on Genesis, but I have a model 2. Will it really only play on old model 1s?
I only need 2 more NES games (US)!
Zany Golf is easily one of the best multiplayer games ever. A classic. Played mine on a Amiga. Didn't know it ever came out for Genny. Guess I know what to look for down at Gamestop.
Aha! Now we see the violence inherent in the system!

You know, one thing that bugged me about the Genesis version of this game was that it had load time. A lot of load time. I think another Electronic Arts PGA golf game had the same problem. I remember all the magazines at the time said it was a good game, but wondered why anyone would want to simulate access time.
I recently got the Mega Drive version (works on any MD btw) and i found it kind of underwhelming. As a minigolf game there isnt much competition, so it comes out on top. When you compare it to some other genesis sport or novelty games though, Zany Golf comes out a little lacking.
Biggest downer of the game is that there are only 9 holes..
I havent played it in multiplayer though, so I might whip it out for a game after a friend and I are done playing Super International Cricket tomorrow
